이탈리아 상륙작전후 이탈리아 전선에서 교전을 지속한 결과 현재 쓰던 2.36인치 바주카의 화력부족을 실감하고 고화력의 대전차 무기를 만드는 프로젝트중 일환으로 포병 병기국이 주도하는 3.25인치 바주카 프로젝트를 했나봄

그 결과 탄생한게 T16바주카고 이후 위 사진에 보이는 바주카인 T24로의 개량을 하게됨 하지만 

미군은 3.25인치 바주카는 답이 없다고 판단하고

화력 증강 프로젝트의 산물중 하나였던

m20 무반동총으로 채택하게됨

그렇게 1943년말부터 시작한 프로젝트는 1944년 9월에 공식 종료하게됨

이후 3.25프로잭트는 3.5로 다시 이어짐
